family promise
Check back for upcoming dates!
Four times a year PUMC volunteers take a turn among an interfaith network of congregations and local civic clubs to provide dinner each night for a week to families who are between homes.
Fort Bend Family Promise (FBFP) helps families develop a plan to attain safe, affordable housing and develop the confidence and skills they need to achieve long-term independence. FBFP also assists hundreds of other individuals each year through referrals and partnerships with other local social service agencies and resources. FBFP has decided to house families temporarily in what they are calling “static housing” to the benefit the families.
We thank all of our volunteers for their generosity and time in delivering the meals. Water, paper plates, and utensils will be delivered separately.

scouting at parkway
We charter Family Cub Scout Pack 616 (Contact - Cubmaster Vanessa Tilton), BSA Troop 38 (Contact - Scoutmaster Keith Roemer), BSA Troop 638 for Girls (Contact - Scoutmaster Sharon Watson). In doing so, we partner with BSA in preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
In addition to our chartered units, we provide meeting space for area Girl Scout troops and other Scout groups on a space-available basis.
Complete a Facility Request to see if we can accommodate your group.
